Many braved the cold, mud and long journey (less an hour sleep) to watch the U10s continue their progress against Yardley. Despite the weather, the team tried to use their handling to create space on a wide pitch with mixed success.
The team continued their excellent ball retention with George and Oscar rucking well and Reuben and Charlie providing options for the pass. James continued his attempts to find space with ball in hand but Molly and Connor had greatest success with excellent runs throughout.
Yardley continually tried to assert their physical dominance, but every line break was chased by the tireless Ethan who defended steadfastly.
The team continually stepped up to meet the physical challenge presented and every player gave everything. The team ethos, togetherness and resilience displayed by all is a credit to their character. Be proud to display the values of rugby; This game is for everyone!
