Burntwood win Rugeley X7s 2019

The group stages were highly competitive with Wednesbury and Stafford A winning all their matches.

Both Rugeley A and Burntwood snuck through to take the runners up spots and entry to the cup semis.

Stafford saw if a late Rugeley comeback to hang on with Burntwood besting Wednesbury in the other match.

A good crowd stayed to see Stafford B beat Uttoxeter in the beer cup before the main event.

Burntwood struck early and were able to keep a two try margin for the remainder of the match meaning victory was theirs.
